Global Power China's Strategic Management Of Economic and Internaional Security Issues
The Asia-Pacific region has the greatest land area in the globe, ranging from Japan and New Zealand in the east to Azerbaijan in the west. The Asia-Pacific area, which has a population of 4.1 billion people, is home to more than half of the world’s population, which is made up of two countries: China and India. Notwithstanding the adverse global economic situation, the area, which is mostly driven by other trade-oriented economies, particularly China and India grew at a 6.5% annual pace between 2012 and 2017. The region also boasts one of the lowest average unemployment rates in the country, at 4.3%, as well as one of the lowest average inflation rates, at 3.3%. Throughout the previous two decades, the Asia-Pacific area has maintained higher economic growth rates than other regions,earning it the moniker “growth hub” of the world economy. It is predicted to maintain the world’s fastest growth rates and to be the locomotive of the global economy in the next years. Apart from its economic importance, the Asia-Pacific region has created a reputation for itself with the defense spending it has devoted in recent years.According to SIPRI data, the region spent $523 billion on defense in 2019, a 4.8% rise over the previous year. China follows the United States of America, which spends the most on defense, and these two countries account for half of global defense expenditures. China’s strategic goals for projecting military might have necessitated the protection of China’s foreign economic interests as well as naval battle lines. Despite this country's importance in the international arena, there is no enough number of books that studies contemporary concerns concerning the Chinese army and China's military history, organizational structure, and China's security viewpoints.
